Background
NGC 6753 is a face-on spiral galaxy 150 million light-years away in Pavo. 12th magnitude. A type SA(r)b galaxy with a prominent inner ring visible in deep imaging.
My Observing Notes
44-cm (Club 17.5-inch f/5): The final stop on the Pavo galaxy tour. Presents as a circular disk (2.5'×2.2') rising to a brighter core but with no further detail visible. In short, looked like an unresolved globular at this aperture.(Saturday, September 2025)
