Background
NGC 6152 is an 8th magnitude open cluster a little northwest of NGC 6087, spanning about half a degree. With its low surface brightness and large extent, it is best observed at low magnifications — a high-power view loses the cluster against the rich surrounding Milky Way star field. A loose Trumpler II 2 m grouping.
My Observing Notes
(Not yet observed — on the Norma list from the May 2026 Universe Sky Tonight column.)
