Background
NGC 6200 is a moderately bright open cluster 3,000 light-years away in Ara. Around 70 million years old, 50 members spread across 10' in a relatively open formation.
My Observing Notes
44-cm (Club 17.5-inch f/5): Squeezed into the same field as NGC 6204 with the 31 mm Nagler. The larger ( 10') and sparser of the contrasting pair, sitting on the right of the field.(Saturday, September 2025)
